UPDATE: One dead in I-5 crash near Salem; all southbound lanes reopen

Interstate 5 southbound has reopened Saturday evening after a fatal, single-vehicle crash closed southbound lanes south of Salem near the Kuebler Boulevard interchange, according to Oregon State Police and Oregon Department of Transportation.
ODOT reported the crash at milepost 251 just after 2:30 p.m. The agency reported all southbound lanes are open just after 6 p.m.
State police have not identified the deceased.
ODOT said drivers should watch out for slowdowns as traffic continues to clear.
