CSPD: One person wounded after shots fired near Platte

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to a report of shots fired on Friday, July 12, around 10 p.m. that resulted in one person wounded.

According to CSPD, when officers arrived at the 600 block of Alexander Road, near North Circle Drive and East Platte Avenue, they found a victim who had suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Officers also located two suspects allegedly involved in the shooting, and both were taken into custody without incident. CSPD is continuing the investigation at this time.
