Cumberland County motorcyclist struck by tractor-trailer in fatal I-81 crash

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Pennsylvania State Police Chambersburg have released new information about the July 6 fatal overnight crash on I-81 Southbound in Franklin County.

According to a police report, a motorcyclist identified as 33-year-old Mark Cramer was traveling south on I-81 in Antrim Township on July 6 at 1:29 a.m. While traveling in the left lane, Cramer lost control, was separated from the motorcycle, and reached an uncontrolled rest in the left lane.

The report says that Cramer was then likely struck by a tractor-trailer, sustaining fatal injuries, and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Officials say the crash occurred at around mile marker 6.7 South.
