Dashcam video captures possible tornado on I-290 in Chicago
CHICAGO — Incredible dashcam footage captured a possible tornado on Interstate 290 in Chicago.
A WGN News viewer was driving on I-290 near the Damen Avenue exit Monday night, when what appears to be a possible tornado passes through the area.
High winds with debris and tree branches can be seen swirling in the air.
Severe storms with reports of several tornadoes blew through the Chicago area Monday evening, toppling trees and power poles and cutting electricity to hundreds of thousands of people.
A woman in Indiana died after a tree fell onto a home.
