DC police investigating shooting in Northeast; 1 man hurt

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police is investigating a shooting that broke out in Northeast D.C. Thursday.

The shooting happened in the 2000 block of Bryant Street. There, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) found a man who had been shot.

A homicide unit has been requested to the scene.

The man was still conscious when he was taken to the hospital for treatment.

MPD said he “may be taking a turn for the worst.”

Police said the suspect was last seen westbound on Bryan Street in a green Jaguar. He has a slim build and is supposedly armed with a gun.
