When do teachers report back in Lake County?
Teachers will report to school on Monday, Aug. 5, through Friday, Aug. 9, for five days of preplanning.

Lake County Schools will be hosting their largest hiring event of the year on Wednesday, July 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Tavares High School. If you're interested, come ready to interview for all positions. Learn more and register on the hiring ad posted on the schools' Facebook page.
Where can I find school bus schedules and supply lists for Lake County schools?
Kudos to Leesburg Elementary School and Grassy Lake Elementary, which have posted their supply lists for each grade at facebook.com/LeesburgLeaders and facebook.com/GrassyLakeElem. Tavares Middle has a Google document available for share to students and parents.
"We don’t post bus schedules," a Lake County Schools spokesperson said on behalf of the schools' administration, adding that parents are advised to "go to the website and enter their home address to find the bus information for the school their child is zoned to attend."

What if my student needs immunizations?
The Lake County Health Department Back-to-School Immunization Event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 and on Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 1 to 7 pm. in three location: 875 Oakley Seaver Drive in Clermont, 2113 Griffin Road in Leesburg, and 249 E.
