Dryer fire displaces 10 vacationers in Horry County

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBT) — A Sunday morning dryer fire in the Forestbrook area has left 10 vacationers without a place to stay.

Horry County Fire Rescue crews responded to a fire alarm in a multi-unit residential structure on Harbour Lights Drive at 12:43 a.m.

The incident was isolated to the appliance and a fire extinguished. Nobody was hurt, but water damage from sprinklers left people displaced.
