Dunnellon city officials need help in solving a crime committed against them

Dunnellon city officials need assistance in finding out who illegally entered a city compound and stole equipment.

According to a news release, city officials said the incident occurred sometime between June 23 and 24 at the Public Works building, 11924 Bostick St.

Inside were two open flatbeds lawn trailers that had city tags 206953 and 206960, respectively. Each trailer had two riding lawn mowers, and there were three orange Scag zero-turn mowers and a green John Deere zero-turn mower, city officials said.

Also stolen were three orange Echo weed eaters.
