Interstate 84 reopens after closure due to Durkee Fire

The Oregon Department of Transportation has reopened Interstate 84 in eastern Oregon. ODOT advises travelers to prepare for more closures as the fire remains active.

Officials recommend travelers use US 20 who need to move east or west through central and eastern Oregon.

The Oregon Department of Transportation closed Interstate 84 eastbound from Pendleton to Baker City on Tuesday due to the Durkee Fire.

The interstate was closed in both directions from the Baker City (exit 302) to Ontario (Exit 374).
