Eight Mile man arrested after search warrant finds drugs, gun: MCSO

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — An Eight Mile man was arrested after a search warrant found drug paraphernalia at a local home, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.

MCSO deputies said they arrested Jason Roberts following a search warrant of a residence in Eight Mile on July 16.

According to an MCSO press release, the search — which was prompted after officials received anonymous tips that led investigators to Roberts’s address — found fentanyl-laced marijuana, spice, and a fully loaded Glock 43 9-mm gun.

Roberts was charged with use/possession of drug paraphernalia, chemical endangerment of a child, and first-degree possession of marijuana, according to the Mobile Metro jail log.
