El Paso ESD No. 2 open new fire station in Fabens

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso County Emergency Service District No. 2 (ESD) is inviting the public to the grand opening of their newest fire station.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 at 219 W. Main St. in Fabens, Texas, according to the news release by El Paso County ESD No. 2.

El Paso ESD No. 2 was established in 1984 and services the following communities within El Paso County:

  • Anthony

  • Canutillo

  • Clint

  • Fabens

  • Montana Vista

  • San Elizario

  • Socorro

  • Tornillo

  • Vinton

  • Unincorporated areas within the district

The district provides medical and fire services through the Fabens Fire Department, El Paso County ESD No. 2 said.

The event will have performances from Fabens High School Band, Fabens High School Cheerleaders and local singer Irma Salvio.
