EP Water bringing new pump station online in Northeast El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Water is bringing a new pump station online to serve the Mesquite Hills subdivision in Northeast El Paso but it may impact water pressure and service in the area during the initial process, the utility said.

North 2 Pump Station will serve the Mesquite Hills subdivision between U.S. 54 and Dyer. Customers may experience low water pressure and possible water outages from 8 a.m. to noon on both Tuesday and Wednesday, July 23 and 24, the utility said.

“Crews will be onsite during this process, and EPWater will be closely monitoring the area to
ensure service reliability,” El Paso Water said.

If residents experience any issues with water pressure in the following days, contact EP Water dispatch at (915) 594-5775.

“Once operational, the North 2 Pump Station should improve water pressure for the entire
Mesquite Hills subdivision, where customers may have experienced low water pressure for
some time,” El Paso Water said.

This work is necessary as EP Water improves infrastructure and the reliability of the
water system in the area, the utility said.
