EPFD recovers 1 body in Lower Valley waterway
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Fire Department recovered one body in a waterway in the Lower Valley on Friday evening, July 26, it said on its X social media account.
The incident happened at Pan American Drive and Winn Road, according to EPFD. That is near the Jonathan W. Rogers Water Treatment Plant and the RR Bustamante Wastewater Plant.
An El Paso Fire spokesperson said the body was that of an adult male.
Initially, water rescue crews were called out about a report of a person in the water. It then turned into a recovery operation.
The body and scene have been turned over to law enforcement.
