Firefighters fight structure fire after semi truck crashes into Wofford Heights house

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Fire Department firefighters are at the scene of a structure fire after a semi-truck crashed into a house in Wofford Heights Thursday afternoon, officials said.

Fire officials said one person is being treated by Liberty Ambulance.

Gas leak forces road closures on Taft Hwy in south Bakersfield

The crash was reported at Highway 155 and Miller Road, according to CHP.

According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Page, the crash was reported at 4:27 p.m. when a truck crashed into the house.
