Fourth Fest organizers told Axios the event could be temporarily delayed due to inclement weather or could be rescheduled completely to Friday.

Are CarmelFest fireworks canceled if it storms?

If the CarmelFest firework show is canceled due to severe weather it will not be rescheduled, but the city will do everything they can to launch them on July 4, said Jeff Worrell, the Fireworks Chairman for Carmelfest.

"If we see an opportunity to launch our show during a break in the weather either earlier or later than planned on the fourth we will do so," Worrell said. "If it is raining and there is no chance of lightning or high winds, the show will proceed. It is lightning and or wind that would cause an unsafe condition and thus a cancellation."

Will Westfield Rocks the 4th fireworks and event be rescheduled if it storms?

Westfield announced Wednesday afternoon on Facebook they plan to proceed with the event as planned, but they're prepared make the event as safe as possible should the weather affect their plans.
