CHILLICOTHE— In an effort to help the community First Capital Legal Support recently opened its supervised visitation center. This center allows for court-appointed supervisors to watch over family visits safely and effectively.

Owner and operator Julie Mounts has been working with the local courts for many years now helping provide children with a safe space to meet with their parents during supervised visits. This new space allows Mounts to have three separate visitations going on at one time with each group getting their own unique space.

The new office features an infant and baby room, a child area and a teen area each with spaces to sit, toys, board games and more. Mounts said she is excited to continue growing and helping the Southern Ohio region.

"It is such a blessing and an honor to help the children of this community," said Mounts.

To celebrate First Capital Legal Support held a ribbon cutting and open house event where community members got an inside look at the facility. Bobbi Kellough with the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce said she is "so excited" to have a facility like this in the area and that it will be helpful to many. Magistrate Jennifer Ater agreed saying the facility is a "huge need" for the area and will help many.
