When is the first day of school for Memphis and Mid-South districts?
Summer is well underway which means the start of the school year will be here before you know it.
Most schools in the Memphis area choose to start at about the same time, but a few start a bit early. Registration for the school year is open at almost all schools now, so if you haven't registered your child yet, it may be time to get ahead of the game.
Here are when schools are starting up in Memphis.
Arlington Community Schools
Arlington will have orientation for students on Wednesday, Aug. 7, and the first day of school on Thursday, Aug. 8.

Bartlett will have students return to the classroom on Thursday, Aug. 8.

Collierville students will have orientation on Monday, Aug. 5. The first day of school will be a few days later on Aug. 8.
