Flash flood warning issued for parts of South Florida

A rainy day is underway Monday afternoon, with a flash flood warning issued for parts of South Florida.

The National Weather Service said the flash flood warning, which is in effect until 3:15 p.m., pertains to many parts of Broward. The affected locations include Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Plantation, Sunrise, Tamarac, Margate, Lauderhill, Coconut Creek, Oakland Park, North Lauderdale and Lauderdale Lakes.
