Tropical Storm Debby is inching toward Florida. Could amusement parks be affected?

On Sunday, tornado watches and warnings continued to pop up over Southwest Florida. According to the National Hurricane Center, Debby will likely make landfall in the Big Bend area as a high-end Category 1 hurricane on Monday morning.

The storm could bringing 90 mph sustained winds, gusts up to 115 mph and a foot of rain.

Here’s what to know about Florida’s major theme parks.

Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is closed on Sunday due to inclement weather, according to the theme’s park website. It will reopen Monday at 10 a.m.

Disney World

Walt Disney World Resort remains open as usual on Sunday. Guests are encouraged to check the company’s website as “some Resort experiences can be delayed, rescheduled or canceled due to severe weather.”

Universal

Operations at Universal Orlando Resort are continuing as normal on Sunday. Parkgoers are urged to visit the theme park’s website for updates.

“We are closely monitoring the weather,” the website states.

SeaWorld

SeaWorld Orlando remains open on Sunday, according to its website.
