Framingham police investigate report of shots fired at Route 9 apartment complex

FRAMINGHAM Police are investigating reports that someone fired a gun Saturday evening in the parking lot of a Route 9 apartment complex.

No one was injured, police spokeswoman Lt. Rachel Mickens told the Daily News on Monday.

Police responded at 7 p.m. Saturday to the Green at 9 & 90 at 1620 Worcester Road (Route 9), after a report of a shots being fired. When officers arrived, they spotted a large group running from the parking lot. Police questioned several people but did not find any shell casings.

The incident remains under investigation. Police did not say whether they have any suspects or video.

The apartment complex is formerly known as the Jefferson Hills Apartments and Halstead Apartments. The DSF Group, a Boston-based developer, purchased the complex last year for $312 million and renamed it the Green at 9 & 90. It contains four six-story buildings and more than 1,000 total apartment units.
