Frederick County delegation to host forum ahead of Maryland General Assembly session
The state delegation for Frederick County will host a public forum on Saturday in preparation for the upcoming Maryland General Assembly session.
The forum, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, is an opportunity for members of the public and representatives of non-governmental organizations to share ideas with their state legislators. It will be held at Winchester Hall in downtown Frederick.
Those who are interested in participating in the forum can sign up in advance by filling out the form at tinyurl.com/Dec7forum. The same form can be used to submit supporting documents for the delegation to review.
People can also sign up to participate in person on the day of the forum.
For those who cannot attend in person, the forum will be broadcast live on FCG-TV, according to Andrew Zirkle, the legislative director for Frederick County Delegation Chair Jesse Pippy (R-4).
Frederick County Executive Jessica Fitzwater previously hosted her own legislative town hall on Oct. 7.
The Maryland General Assembly is scheduled to convene on Jan. 8 for the 2025 session.
