Weller Wonderly Hanes Funeral Home, 1940s

Opened in the 1930s by Jerry Weller, and later Cliff Wonderly in the old Bell homestead on East State Street in Fremont that dated back to as early as the 1860s, the funeral home is pictured with its matching additions in the 1940s. Now operated by Scott Hanes, Weller Wonderly Hanes is still thriving in its original location and has retained its distinctive architecture as it appeared in this early photograph.
