Full rainfall list for Central NC from last weekend until today; several flooded areas hit with 8 to 11 inches of rain

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — As several days of rain moved through North Carolina over the last week, parts of central North Carolina received several inches of rain.

In just the Triangle area, Durham County was the worst-hit, with more than 9 inches of rain since last Saturday, July 20 until today. Parts of Orange County had more than 8 inches of rainfall, while areas of Wake County received more than 7 inches of rain.

Elsewhere in central North Carolina, Harnett County had the most rain overall with more than 11 inches. Nash County had about 8 inches of rain, while Johnston County exceeded 7.5 inches in areas.

The list below has locations where the rain was collected and measured. For example, a location named Wendell 6.5 S is a rain gauge located 6.5 miles south of Wendell.
