In our region, Steuben, Ontario and Yates counties were hit the hardest by floods as a result of the storm. Damages, though, were widespread – seen in communities across New York State.

Hochul has her way, federal funding from FEMA’S Public Assistance Program would be available for people in Allegany, Broome, Delaware, Essex, Franklin, Jefferson, Ontario, Steuben, St. Lawrence and Yates Counties. The money would be intended for the removal of debris, repairs and emergency protective measures.
