Gresham gunfire wounds at least 1, hits gas line
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Gunfire erupted late Sunday night in Gresham, leaving at least one person wounded and a residential gas line damaged by a bullet, police told KOIN 6 News.
The shooting happened shortly after 10 p.m. around 18600 E. Burnside. Officials said it is a “very active scene” with police and crews from NW Natural at the scene.
Police and fire crews worked together to evacuate the residents affected, and NW Natural crews were able to get the gas turned off.
The wounded person was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
