Hershey Farm Restaurant and Inn makes big changes ahead of reopening after 2023 fire

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– The Hershey Farm Restaurant and Inn is reopening Friday as the “Hershey Farm Resort” after a fire destroyed it last year.

The accidental fire started while an employee was conducting roof work last year. The glue the worker was using caught fire, which led to a disastrous fire that caused millions of dollars in damages to the restaurant, retail shops, bakery, and more, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
