Hey oh! See Red Hot Chili Peppers bring California love to Sacramento region

The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 2024 Unlimited Love tour arrived in California on Sunday night as the summer concert season picks up the pace.

Vocalist Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith and guitarist John Frusciante brought their biggest hits to the Toyota Amphitheatre near Wheatland.

The Los Angeles group’s Southern California anthems resonated with a Northern California audience that braved heavy traffic into the facility but were ecstatic to sing along.

The Chili Peppers head next to Salt Lake City. No other visits to their home state are planned. Rapper Ken Carson opened for the group.
