House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock has landed her next TV role.

The actor, best known for playing a young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in the Game of Thrones prequel, will appear in new Netflix series Sirens alongside The White Lotus' Meghann Fahy and Mary & George star Julianne Moore.

Alcock will play sister to Fahy in the dark comedy, written and created by Maid showrunner Molly Smith Metzler.

"Devon (Fahy) thinks her sister Simone (Alcock) has a creepy relationship with her boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell (Moore)," reads the official Netflix synopsis.

"Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention. Told over the course of one explosive weekend at a lavish beach estate."

Alcock took to social media to share her joy at being a part of the upcoming series, writing: "So excited to be part of this project with an army of incredible women both in front and behind the camera."

A release date and further cast for Sirens is yet to be announced.

The House of the Dragon star has a busy year ahead with filming scheduled to take place on new film Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow soon, after production on James Gunn's Superman: Legacy concludes.

In January it was confirmed that Alcock had landed the titular role in the DC film, based on the comic book series of the same name, with writer-director James Gunn announcing her casting.

"Milly is a fantastically talented young actor, and I’m incredibly excited about her being a part of the DCU," he wrote on Instagram.

In May, Deadline reported June 26, 2006 as a provisional release date for the superhero film. The movie is being directed by Craig Gillespie of Cruella and I,Tonya fame.

House of the Dragon season two is available to stream on in the US on HBO and Max, and Sky Atlantic and NOW. Season one is available to stream now on HBO, Sky Atlantic and NOW.

Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are also available on DVD and Blu-ray.
