Huntsville man arrested on drug charges, bond set at $4 million
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Authorities say a Huntsville man has been charged with drug trafficking over the weekend.
The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) said the North Alabama Drug Task Force (NADTF) carried out a search warrant on Jonathan Drive at 1 a.m. on Friday, July 26.
HPD said NADTF then arrested 36-year-old Trenton Lorenzo Grays and took the following quantities of drugs:
13.75 ounces of fentanyl
4 ounces of crack cocaine
6.5 ounces of methamphetamine ice
501 Xanax pills
46 grams of mushrooms
3.2 pounds of marijuana
2.8 pounds of spice (analog)
1.8 grams of ecstasy
HPD also said Grays was also in possession of a gun and was arrested for trafficking fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, analogs and marijuana. He was booked into the Madison County Jail on a $4 million bond.
The arrest comes after a weeklong investigation into the suspected drug trafficking operations. HPD says this is an ongoing investigation and that additional arrests and charges are possible.
