Indiana governor candidate McCormick to join Beidinger in townhall meeting

MISHAWAKA — A townhall meeting will be held Tuesday, Aug. 6 with two Democrats running in Indiana elections this fall: governor candidate Jennifer McCormick and Heidi Beidinger, who’s running for the District 5 state house representative.

The public meeting will run from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Mishawaka Penn Harris Library, 209 Lincoln Way E. in downtown.

McCormick was the state’s last elected Indiana superintendent of public instruction. Beidinger had previously run unsuccessfully for the same house seat, which represents Mishawaka, Granger and Osceola. She is again facing incumbent Republican Dale DeVon.
