IOW Sheriff’s Office seeks help identifying suspect involved in suspicious acts

ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — The Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect involved in suspicious activities.

Authorities say, a man was seen pulling into driveways and walking around the outside of homes. When confronted by a resident, he took off in his truck and hit a parked vehicle and UTV the resident was riding, according to the sheriff’s office.

The suspect was driving an older model, single-cab Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra with aftermarket dark gas cap or is missing the cover.

He has also been seen at construction sites in Carrollton.
