Iredell County woman arrested for allegedly stabbing woman at Troutman gas station: Police

TROUTMAN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An Iredell County woman was arrested Sunday for allegedly stabbing another woman in the back at a gas station.

According to the Troutman Police Department, a woman being treated at the Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville reported being stabbed during an alternation at the Sheetz on Charlotte Highway. Officers say she had a stab wound in her back.

During the investigation, it was found that the suspect was 43-year-old Kisha Dawn Terry, of Overcash Road near Troutman. A warrant for her arrest was obtained for the charge of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious bodily injury.

Terry was reportedly located by deputies with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and taken into custody.

After being handed over to Troutman officers, Terry was taken before a magistrate where she was ordered held with no bond until she could appear before a District Court judge.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest.
