PANAMA CITY, FL--(Marketwire -08/28/12)- iSirona, a provider of simplified solutions for medical device integration, today announced that it has been named as the 82nd fastest-growing private company in America. This news comes on the heels of iSirona being awarded $530,000 in grant and tax incentives from the state of Florida for job creation.

Compiled by Inc. magazine, the Inc. 500 rankings are based on a company's percentage of revenue growth from 2008 through 2011. Not only is iSirona No. 82 on the list overall, it ranks as the fifth fastest-growing private company in the healthcare category.

"The phenomenal growth we've experienced is a result of our innovative approach to medical device integration," says iSirona CEO Dave Dyell. "We build our software solutions based on current technology and current capability. Clearly, our clients are recognizing the value of those solutions."

To qualify for the Inc. 500 list, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2008, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, all companies have to be based in the United States, privately held and independent.

Reporting on private companies is more difficult than public companies, as private companies are not required by law to disclose their financial information. That's what makes the Inc. 500 list valuable; it provides the most comprehensive look at the private companies driving the U.S. economy.
