JD Vance to speak at campaign rally in Middletown

Vice presidential nominee JD Vance will soon make a campaign stop in his hometown.
Vance, who formally accepted his nomination to be Donald Trump's running mate Wednesday night, will deliver remarks at a rally in Middletown, Ohio on Monday. The rally will be held at Middletown High School, Vance's alma mater, at 1:30 p.m. ET, according to a press release.
Doors open to the rally at 10:30 a.m. Those who wish to attend the event can get tickets here.
Vance made several mentions of his hometown during Wednesday's speech.
"And I promise you one more thing – the people of Middletown, Ohio, and all the forgotten communities in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and every corner of our nation," he said. "I promise you this – I will never forget where I came from."
Just over 60% of Butler County voters cast votes for Trump in 2020. The former president won 58% of Middletown voters.
