New Jersey lottery player wins $500,000 on $10 scratch-off ticket. Here's where

A trip to the liquor store turned into a half-million dollar payday for one Hudson County lottery player.

The New Jersey Lottery announced on social media Monday night that one of three grand prizes had been won in its new $10 Neon Cash Party Scratch-Off game. The $500,000 winning ticket was sold at ACL Golden Liquors on Bergenline Avenue in North Bergen, the New Jersey Lottery announced.

The game, which began at the end of June, has prizes ranging from $20 to $5,000 and three $500,000 tickets.

"Congratulations to this lucky player from North Bergen who purchased a brand NEW $10 Neon Cash Party Scratch-Off ticket and won $500,000!" the NJ Lottery posted. "With 2 top prizes remaining, let us know if you're planning to play this fun game!"
