Joe and Jill Biden to return to Rehoboth Beach area this weekend

The Bidens are coming back to Rehoboth Beach area on Sunday for the first time in two weeks.

Joe and Jill Biden are traveling from California where they were staying at a donor and friend’s house in Santa Barbara. FAA restrictions in the Rehoboth and Dover areas expire on Tuesday, Sept. 3, but there is no indication from the White House about how long the president will be staying at his home near Rehoboth.

He is scheduled to arrive at Dover Air Force Base at 7:05 p.m. and the Rehoboth Beach area around 7:35 p.m. on Sunday after taking off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

The last time he was in the Rehoboth area, he was seen riding his bike around Gordons Pond State Park and went to the beach with his granddaughter and to church. Earlier this summer, Biden isolated there because of his bout with COVID-19 and announced he would not seek reelection.
