Harris has upped her media appearances recently, having sat down with Stephen Colbert, 60 Minutes‘ Bill Whitaker and Howard Stern, among other personalities. But she’s also been urged by some supporters to make an appearance on Fox News, populated by voices on the right, even though Baier is on the network’s news side. With an average of 2.3 million viewers, Special Report has ranked among the most watched cable news programs.

Earlier in the day, Fox News will air a town hall with Donald Trump, moderated by Harris Faulkner, that will be focused on issues impacting women and will feature an all-female audience.

Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, has appeared twice on Fox News Sunday since he became the Democratic nominee.

Harris accepted CNN’s proposal for a another presidential debate with Trump on Oct. 23, but he declined. Instead, she will do a town hall on that evening, with Anderson Cooper as moderator. The New York Times first reported on the Harris-Baier interview.
