Kansas City police cancel Silver Alert after 72-year-old woman located safe

UPDATE: KCPD says Theresa Bealmear has been located safe.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing 72-year-old woman diagnosed with dementia.

KCPD says Theresa Bealmear was last seen around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Walmart on Boardwalk Avenue. She was driving a gold Nissan Altima with Missouri license plate EF2W9K. The vehicle was last seen driving north near the Kansas City International Airport.

She is described as standing 5’6″ and weighs 190 pounds. She has gray hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black and white dress and tennis shoes.

Police said Bealmear has been diagnosed with dementia and her family is concerned for her safety and well-being.
