Karen Read lists her 4-bed, 3-bath Mansfield, Mass. home for $849,900 — two weeks after murder case ends in mistrial

Karen Read put her “meticulously maintained” four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Mansfield, Massachusetts on the market two weeks after her murder trial ended with a hung jury.

Read, who was accused of mowing down her Boston cop boyfriend John O’Keefe in 2022, listed the two-story colonial-style house for $849,900 this week.

“Ms. Read has not been living in Mansfield since last year and now wishes for another family to enjoy the property she spent many years enhancing,” Read’s real estate agent Richard Rocci of RE/Max Platinum, told Boston.com.

The “turn-key” home built in 1972 has two bedrooms on the first floor and three bedrooms on the second floor, but is listed as a four-bedroom because the septic system was designed to accommodate a four-bedroom household, Roccie told the Boston outlet.

It features a working fireplace, hardwood floors throughout, central air, original wood beam accents, a large driveway, a two-car garage and an unfinished basement.

The 2,516-square-foot house is located on a suburban, tree-lined street in the Mansfield suburb, about 30 miles from Boston.

“She’s definitely put a lot of time and money into it,” Rocci told the local publication. “The house has a lot of charm. The brick fireplace, the beams, it’s just really warm.”

Read, 44, and her boyfriend’s murder investigation gained a cult following with supporters believing that she had been framed as her lawyers claimed.

Prosecutors claimed that she drunkenly — but intentionally — ran over her boyfriend after she dropped him off at his friend’s home and then left him out in a snowstorm to die.

But Read’s lawyers argued that she was framed by O’Keefe’s Boston cop friends and claimed that it was his pals who beat him to death.

The opposing stories of what happened that night, Jan. 29, 2022, were enough to split jurors and on July 1, the judge declared a mistrial after five days of jury deliberations.

Rocci didn’t immediately return a message from The Post.
