Kayleigh McEnany Drops Puzzling Read Of Kamala Harris: ‘Everyone Needs To Be Prepared’

Kayleigh McEnany offered a confusing take on Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign as she called on Fox News viewers to prepare for “Kamalot” on Wednesday.

The ex-White House press secretary under former President Donald Trump weighed in on President Joe Biden’s primetime address before jumping to Harris, slamming the Hur report on the president’s mishandling of classified documents.

“That’s who’s now running for president of the United States... Prepare for Kamala Camelot, prepare for the mythologized age of the Kennedys, the shining administration on the hill, prepare for Kamalot,” said McEnany, who noted that Beyoncé greenlit Harris’ use of her song “Freedom” for her campaign.

“Kamalot is here, and everyone needs to be prepared,” she added.

It’s unclear why McEnany referred to Camelot while discussing Harris, as the term is often associated with a period of optimism set during President John F. Kennedy’s brief administration.

Former first lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis, in an interview with Life following the 1963 assassination, noted that her husband appreciated the line from the “Camelot” musical of the same name: “Don’t let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment that was known as Camelot.”

She told the magazine, “There will be great presidents again... but there’ll never be another Camelot again.”

Social media users questioned as well as mocked McEnany’s use of “Camelot.”

“Thanks @kayleighmcenany Kamalot! Your best idea ever. Actually your first idea ever,” Keith Olbermann quipped.
