Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department hands out mass citations, arrests during country music festival

(WFRV) – The 2024 Country Thunder music festival in Wisconsin resulted in numerous arrests made by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department (KCSD).

According to a release, the KCSD filed 100 County Ordinance Citations, along with 24 arrests during the July 17-21 music festival.

10 of the arrests made were due to disorderly conduct, and three as a result of resisting an officer. The other arrests made were of a wide variety of offenses, from battery to carrying concealed weapons.

As for the 100 citations, the majority of them were due to underage alcohol violations, as 54 were handed out across the four days. There were also 11 for obstruction/resisting an officer, and 10 for trespassing.

The post also thanked all agencies and staff members for helping to make the music festival successful.
