Lara Trump Makes Trashy Comment About Kamala Harris

GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump on Monday likened Vice President Kamala Harris — the likely Democratic 2024 presidential nominee — to a designer “trash bag.”

It echoed her father-in-law’s insulting comments last week that Harris is “real garbage.”

Lara Trump, the co-chair of the Republican National Committee, claimed to Fox News’ Sean Hannity that the “mainstream media” is “trying to rewrite history” and “prop up” Harris as “this amazing political figure to the American people.”

That’s despite Harris pulling in blockbuster fundraising figures since President Joe Biden nixed his campaign and endorsed her as his replacement.

“It reminds me of […] a bag that a very famous designer designed,” Lara Trump continued. “This was several years ago, and it literally was a trash bag, but they sold this thing for like $2,000, thinking that people would actually buy it.”

Lara Trump, married to Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump, appeared to be talking about Balenciaga’s Italian-made, $1,950 calfskin Trash Bag pouch.
