Little Rock police arrest Park Plaza Mall shooting suspect

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Little Rock Police Department announced Thursday that the suspect in the Black Friday shooting at Park Plaza Mall that left two injured has been arrested.

LRPD officials said Thursday that 18-year-old Antonio Coleman Jr. surrendered to LRPD officers and is facing two counts of criminal attempt to commit capital murder.

The incident happened on Friday, Nov. 29 at 1:44 p.m. when LRPD officers were called to the mall in regard to a shooting.

When officers arrived, they said they found one victim suffering from a gunshot wound and another was transported a local hospital a short while later.

LRPD officials said that the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
