Local winner! $50,000 in PICK 5 drawing

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – A Cleveland man picked the right numbers to win a windfall of cash!

According to the Ohio Lottery, the man, who they did not publically identify, won $50,000 in the Tuesday, June 4 PICK 5 midday drawing.

‘Dang!’ Local man gets lucky scratch-off ticket

Officials said the lucky ticket was purchased at Sam’s Food Mart on Saint Clair Avenue in the city.

The winning numbers were 5-0-3-4-3.

After taxes, the winner will take home about $36,000, said the lottery in a press release.

PICK 5 is a daily draw game. The odds of winning the $50,000 prize are 1 in 100,000.

A police officer pulled over a self-driving Waymo vehicle in Phoenix after it ran a red light and pulled into a lane of oncoming traffic, according to dispatch records. The incident took place on June 19, but local media including Arizona Republic released bodycam footage of the traffic stop this week, showing the vehicle weaving in traffic before eventually pulling over into a parking lot. The dispatch records (which are written in all caps) say the vehicle “FREAKED OUT” and that the officer was ultimately “UNABLE TO ISSUE CITATION TO COMPUTER,” according to Arizona Republic.
