Clark County Fire District 6 says that although no one was injured, odor from the leak has been reported from as far as 11 blocks away and that 99th Street will likely be closed for a few hours.

“Reportedly, the leak happened after a contractor working on a water line project accidentally punctured a major gas line,” officials said. “The call came in at 4:03 p.m.”

This is a developing story.
