Man accused of late-night stabbing at American Dream parking deck

State Police arrested a Jersey City man after a stabbing at the American Dream parking deck Saturday night.

New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said Raquan Howard, 29, was arrested by police and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon with unlawful purpose and criminal mischief.

Howard is accused of stabbing a 28-year-old man in the parking deck around 10:56 p.m. The victim, who was not named, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Howard was taken to the Bergen County Jail and is awaiting a detention hearing.

Marchan said the police were investigating and did not have any additional information.
