Man arrested after about $3K theft from Harbor Freight in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man has been arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of several items from Harbor Freight, the Fresno Police Department said.

Officers say they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle believed to be related to thefts that detectives have been investigating from Harbor Freight.

Police say they contacted the driver and his passenger. The driver was found to have an active warrant and was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail.

During a vehicle search, detectives say they located around $3,000 worth of stolen Icon tools from Harbos Freight. Stickers on the tools came back to stores in Central Fresno and Clovis.

This is an ongoing investigation.
