Man arrested in connection to double fatal slashing in Brooklyn: NYPD
CYPRESS HILL, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A man was taken into custody in connection to a double fatal stabbing in an apartment in Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.
Roosevelt Simmons, 91, and Jacqueline Delyons, 66, were found lying on the kitchen floor with slash wounds to their necks Sunday afternoon, police say.
The victims appear to be a father and daughter, according to the NYPD.
Lewis Kerry, 46, of Brooklyn, was arrested Monday afternoon. Police charged Kerry with murder in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
Police say the victims and suspect all lived at 186 Warwick Street.
