A Plymouth man recently became awfully friendly with them as well.

After dreaming the night before about buying a diamonds Massachusetts State Lottery ticket, Howard Kendall Jr. picked up a “$4,000,000 Diamonds” $10 scratch ticket during a stop at 7-Eleven.

The purchase was a dream come true.

Kendall scored one of the game's four $1 million grand prizes. He chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.

He said he plans to use his winnings to help his children and grandchildren.

The 7-Eleven at 507 State Road in Plymouth received a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket to Kendall.

According to the Lottery website, there is one outstanding grand prize left in the “$4,000,000 Diamonds” game. Winners can select the one-time payout, like Kendall, or take a $200,000 annuity for 20 years.
