Man killed, suspect charged in Clermont County shooting on Monday night, police say

A man is dead and another is in police custody after a shooting Monday night in Goshen Township.

Police and emergency crews responded to the report of a shooting in the 1700 block of Ohio 28 at about 10 p.m., police said.

First responders found 44-year-old Robert Armstrong of Goshen with a gunshot wound. Though life-saving measures were taken, Armstrong died, according to the Goshen Township Police Department.

Dakota Hensley, 25, also of Goshen was arrested and charged with murder, police said, adding the shooting stemmed from a dispute between the two men.

Hensley is currently being held at the Clermont County Jail and has a bond hearing scheduled for 10 a.m. in Clermont County Municipal Court.
